O'Neill & Associates has been serving Clients and Candidates since 1996. We pride ourselve in providing Companies with technical talent and leveraging careers of our Candidates.  We conduct ourselve in an ethical and professional manner and maintain strict confidentiality.

The majority of our clients are established medium-sized and Pre-IPO (Initial Public Offering) companies who offer competitive salary, equity or stock options, full benefits and relocation allowance.  These existing and venture capital funded companies allow candidates the opportunity to work with leading edge technologies, and make a substantial difference within a small organization while leveraging their careers.

We specialize in the placement of Electro-Optical and Optical engineers and scientists, from entry level through Chief Executive Officer.  This includes positions in:  research and development, design, process development, manufacturing, technical sales/marketing, etc.  Our expertise is in the following arenas: Optics, Optical Networking, Fiber Optics, Data Storage, Wireless, Lasers, Photonics and Infrared.

Due to the incestuous nature of the optics arena, we will not send your resume to a client unless we have your permission. We do not want to compromise your present position and will maintain strict confidentiality.

If our positions do not fit your requirements, call us about our Candidate Marketing Program, and we may commit to marketing you to companies in your technical niche for a fee. If you are a strong candidate, our client companies may create a position for you..

If you are a Client Company:
We have a very attractive Client Agreement, which will allow us to provide the following services and resources:

O'Neill & Assoc. has over 3,500 resumes in our data base.  We can search on these with key words. Our Associates will identify candidates for you and contact them to see if they are interested in the opportunity or if they know of an associate that is qualified.  We network throughout the technical niche.

O'Neill & Assoc. will research on the Internet and through other resources to acquire names of individuals who qualify to fill the opportunity. This will take a week or less. Our Associates will contact and network throughout the niche to surface candidates. This will take a week and we will have resumes at the end of the third week.

At the end of every month O'Neill & Assoc. sends out a mass E-mail (Career Forum) to 5,000 + scientists and engineers in the optics arena.  This list is highly qualified.  We will list your opportunity in our Career Forum and on our Web site. This will generate more qualified resumes.

O'Neill & Assoc. will not acquire resumes that are listed on the Internet or through advertisement in news papers.  Our candidates are not job hoppers or job shoppers.  They go to work every day with their heads down.  Happy in their job and self actualizing.  They get along with authority, have a stable family life and are not looking for another job.  Our Associates will approach them with your opportunity, get them interested and acquire their resume.  They are interested in leveraging their careers, making a difference and working with new technological challenges
